What’s the most metal part of 300?
A. The part where Leonidas kicks a Persian into a bottomless pit
B. The part where the Spartans stand on the beach screaming in the lightning and thunder and rain while dozens of ships get wrecked by the storm
C. The part where a Spartan throws a spear into the eye of a rampaging rhinoceros and doesn’t even bother getting out of the way because he knows it will fall down dead and glide to a graceful stop within inches of his big toe
I mean, the whole flick is pretty metal. But it’s hard to pick the most metal moment. Votes?
I cast my vote for C, and this is why: Of those three things, I think charging a rhino is the most likely thing Ozzy would do.

I would have said A because it is the ultimate stage dive mosh pit kinda thing. But I am going to have to go back to C… Stood there like Gene Simmons in the throng of a groupie crowd.
D: Granted it wasn’t so much “action”, but building a wall with the corpses of your enemies and then crushing them with it. Metal.

E – The part where they duck under their sheilds when the rain of arrows come down, then stand and whack of the arrows from the front with their swords. Bure badass, unimpressed by the other guys actions. Metal.
