Starting on Friday I’ll be publishing a serial novel, one chapter at a time. If you’d like to follow this story, you can grab the feed: Star and Scribe.

So what’s it about? I’ll give you just a few hints: egomaniacs, incompetence, and pew pew pew! Apart from that, you’ll just have to read along. Chapter One goes live Friday, and I hope to publish a chapter every Friday and Monday until the story is complete.

I’ve opted for a Creative Commons license that allows for free distribution and sharing of my work, but asks for attribution and prohibits changing the original. That being said, it’s unlikely that I’ll be anything but tickled pink if I ever wrote something that inspired fanfiction or a really awesome parody.

So here goes the experiment. I’ve been wanting to write for a long time but I have never found the traditional venues for publishing very welcoming. So I’ll do it my way. Please do let me know if you enjoy what you read. If you think it sucks that’s okay too — just tell me why so I can improve.
