Crochet Rocks

I have an old injury that prevents full extenstion of my left wrist. I wasn’t able to do push-ups for a long time because of this as it’s hard to put weight on your palm when you can’t actually flatten it against the floor as needed. My Perfect Push-Up changed that (yay!) but from time to time my wrist will ache, especially after a long day of typing on the lappy or doing many of the other things that I need my hands to do. I don’t like taking pills without real necessity so normally I just tell myself to suck it up when normal aches and pains hit or try to find a non-chemical way of dealing with them.

So I crocheted a nice little sleeve that keeps my forearm and wrist warm. I have it on today and my wrist hasn’t ached at all, no matter how cold it is outside. I think I’ll make another one for the other side, because my coworkers think it looks very punk rock with my black t-shirt and Chuck Taylors:
