The public has spoken, and the Large Hadron Collider has been christened “Halo”. It’s just too bad that the damn thing is broken and has crappy tech support. Guess CERN got fragged and pwned. The thing I can’t decide is if it’s more awesome or ironic. It’s a very funny name, but if the LHC does end up being what people fear, it will be all too appropriate. However, humans seem to only be able to stress out over death for so long. Then they laugh at it, as that seems to be the only safe way to release the pressure. Either way, I can’t wait for some cosplay gamers to show up in Switzerland with a plasma cannon . . .
